摘要
The goal of this article is to describe and analyze the role of the 2.0 Web technologies on the research processes based on the model of creation of organizational knowledge of Nonaka and Takeuchi (SECI model). The contemporary case study proposed by Robert YIN (1994) was the method selected. The revision of documents and in-depth interviews were the techniques used to gather information. It is possible to identify that the use and appropriation of the 2.0 Web technologies have an important potential to support the creation of knowledge, by fostering collaborative work between researchers, facilitating information exchange, and effective results' communication. However, the profitable organizations are the ones seizing the opportunities offered by these new technologies by implementing models for its management. Finally, it is evidenced that it is the responsibility of academic institutions to support the researchers when it comes to explore these news technologies that have in mind the improvement of the scope and impact of the researches.
