ACREDITATION OF POLITICAL SCIENCE GRADUATE COURSES IN ARGENTINA

In this paper, a review of the processes of accreditation of graduate programs in Political Science at the National Commission of University Assessment and Accreditation (CONEAU), decentralized agency acting under the Ministry of Education of Argentina, takes place. In this descriptive study the main aspects of the assessments are characterized while its results are identified, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses detected in the presentations made by each university, to contribute to the knowledge of the current situation of postgraduate studies of the discipline and to go in depth with the line of research in the curriculum of this field which is being developed in recent years.
