摘要
An investigation of iron ore sintering aimed at developing methods for monitoring and controlling the mechanical strength of sinter is described. It was found that the yield of sound sinter is determined by the overall effect of heat, including preheating of the bed during ignition. The linear models given enable sinter strength to be stabilised by changing sinter retention time in the high temperature zone, which is related to the time of heat treatment under reducing conditions during ignition.
