Web resources for learning of programming in system's engineering college students

摘要
The purpose of this research is to analyze the web resources in the learning of programming in college students of systems engineering. In order to provide the necessary theoretical support, the postulates of Barrientos (2013), Serra (2013), Penalosa (2013), Pressman (2009), Cabero (2013) and Pimienta (2012) were taken. The present article was developed within the framework of the positivist episteme with a quantitative approach. Also, it was classified as projective, with non-experimental-transverse design. The population consisted in 382 students of Systems Engineering, with an intentional sample of 72 subjects enrolled in the curricular units Programming Language I, II and III. The data collection technique was the survey using a closed questionnaire Likert scale and 5 response alternatives, which was submitted to content validity by 8 experts and discriminant with a Student's T for independent samples. Reliability was calculated with Cronbach's alpha coefficient, obtaining a value of 0.983, being considered highly reliable. For the analysis of the data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used, applying the Kruskall-Wallis H test. There was a moderate presence in the use of web resources for learning. Likewise, non-significant differences were found between the studied elements. A moderate use of e-mail, chats, forums and animations was concluded, but the web sites showed a high presence. Finally, guidelines were proposed to integrate these resources to the context in order to achieve the development of skills in students.
