摘要：
This article provides a critical analysis of scientific views regarding the interpretation of the essence of the insurance market and determines its place in the country's financial system from the perspective of the system, political economy, reproductive and institutional approaches. Formed approaches to disclosure of the phenomenon under investigation have become the scientific platform for the construction of the author's position. Hierarchical relationship of the concepts of "Economy", "Finance", "insurance" is characterized. We analyzed the evolution of the insurance theories.
