摘要
The initiation and maintenance of an effective immune response requires the coordinated function of spatially distinct compartments of the immune system. Such coordination is critically dependent on mechanisms of lymphocyte homing and recirculation. The past year has seen significant progress in our understanding of both the molecular basis of these homing mechanisms, and their potential physiological consequences.
