Statistical-Economic Analysis of Household Income Level

The article discusses the approaches of different schools of thought to the analysis of household income. Low personal income is one of the most important problems of modern Russia. It gives rise to a number of other difficulties such as growing crime and mortality rates, decreasing birth rate, etc. Examining living standards of Russia's population is a key element of the comprehensive social-economic analysis of the situation within the country in order to develop adequate measures of social-demographic state policy.
