Family law in the European Union: legal issues of community cooperation among member states

The easiness of transports and called era of globalization has caused international family relationships are becoming more frequent, so that should provide means to regulate effectively. European Union law should be an example. However, we must not ignore that additional difficulties still exist when the language is unknown and communications are expensive. Therefore it is so necessary a good European Union Family law that guarantees, fundamentally, rights of minors. This article will seek to demonstrate that it is on the right track and had been made significant progress in this area in recent years, evolving steadily. Special emphasis will be on the Regulation 2201/2003 and Regulation 4/09, not to mention other standards and projects. The ultimate goal: a European Union of the people, not only of strict economy.
