The Fourier transform spectra of ClCN have been recorded between 2860 to 3030 cm-1 with a resolution of 0.0026 cm-1. The nu1 + nu3 and 2nu2 + nu3 bands and the associated hot bands have been analyzed. A band-by-band analysis has been performed and also, for the first time, a global analysis has been made including all available data for the rotational and rovibrational energies of both (ClCN)-Cl-35-C-12-N-14 and (ClCN)-Cl-37-C-12-N-14 isotopomers. The 2nu2 + nu3 band has been analyzed for the less abundant isotopic species (ClCN)-Cl-35-C-13-N-14, (ClCN)-Cl-35-C-12-N-15, and (ClCN)-Cl-37-N-14. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
