摘要：
In a follow-up study of individuals from Lancashire, England (n = 449), birth and placental weights (circa 1935-1943) were found to predict for systolic and diastolic blood pressure at ages 46-54 years. These findings suggest that prevention of hypertension may depend in part on improving maternal and prenatal nutrition.
