摘要
In recent decades, the issue of social capital has attracted academic interest among social scientists, especially after registering experiences that have demonstrated their contribution to the achievement of collective goals by groups and communities. Families, for instance, deal with everyday life situations by relying on social capital built within the framework of social relations. This article provides an overview of research on families and social capital since the nineties, identifying trends and some challenges in addressing the issue.
