摘要：
A simple and inexpensive gauge is described for the unattended measurement of peak water levels in wetlands or other fluctuating waterbodies. It is constructed of readily available materials, is easy to maintain, and provides an accurate recording of the maximum water level attained during daily to monthly intervals between site visits.
