摘要
Thermal decomposition of calcium hydroxylapatite Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 in air and in purified nitrogen was studied at temperatures 20-1500-degrees-C. Two stages of thermal decomposition were found between 700-degrees-C and 1500-degrees-C. The influence of the conditions of heating on the course of the process is discussed. In the second stage, which starts between 1340-degrees-C-1420-degrees-C, depending on the experimental conditions, the apatite lattice is destroyed and two endothermic effects are observed.
