QUARK MATTER IN THE COLOR-DIELECTRIC MODEL

摘要
The properties of cold, two-flavour, quark matter are considered in a simple colour-dielectric model. If the soliton solutions of the same Hamiltonian are identified with nucleons, one finds that the one relevant parameter for the quark matter problem is determined uniquely. Results for quark matter are then independent of the mass of the chi field. In addition, this observation lead to useful scaling laws in the soliton sector.
