摘要
Experimental investigations of natural convective heat transfer in an unlimited space from horizontal isothermal triangular, quadratic, hexagonal and circular plates are presented. Free convective heat transfer experiments and visualization were carried out using plates of the same diameter d=0.07 m of the circle inscribed in polygon tested. Heat transfer experiments were performed in glycerine, visualization was made in water. Results obtained were compared with simplified theoretical solution of model phenomenon.
