摘要
Hole transport has been investigated in binary solid solutions of N,N,N',N'-tetra(m-tolyl)-1,3-diaminobenzene (PDA) and hole transport-inactive compounds. The mobility in the limit of zero-field obeys the small-polaron hopping theory. The polaron binding energies and the wave-function overlap factors are found to strongly depend on the transport-inactive component. It is suggested that the latter effect is based on the electronic interaction of the frontier orbitals between a charged molecule and the surrounding transport-inactive compounds.
