About psychopathy and its evaluation

The history of the characterization and systematic assessment of psychopathy presents different approaches that are guided by several focal points, both convergent and divergent, which have implications for how we can define the disorder and develop its assessment. Therefore, this article explores the various approaches to the concept of psychopathy, and reconciles different points of view, in order to submit a proposal for an integrated assessment of the disturbance. For that, we proceeded to a bibliographic review, seeking the different focal points of analysis, belonging to diverse perspectives, in order to reach an integrator evaluation plan of multiple inputs. In a context of such high complexity, we must call upon the knowledge provided by various sources, in a complementary register.
