摘要：

We describe how the thermal motion of a mass suspended by wires as a pendulum may be predicted by an electrical transmission line model. In particular we show that if the losses in the suspension wires are frequency independent, there is a simple relation between the quality factor of the pendulum resonance and those of the suspension wires.
