SPECIFIC DETAILS OF THE MEAN-FIELD SLAVE-BOSON SOLUTION OF THE HUBBARD-MODEL

摘要：

The single-band Hubbard model has been studied on a simple square lattice using the slave-boson representation. The magnetic phase diagram was derived numerically from solutions of the saddle-point equations. With increase in the on-site Coulomb repulsion U we find a phase transition to a ferromagnetic state that is fully spin polarized even for finite U.
