摘要
The Mellin transform of the gravity effect of a vertical line element and a vertical slab are derived. An interpretive process for evaluating the body parameters from the Mellin transform of the gravity effect if formulated. The validity of the method is tested on simulated models. The Mellin transform of the gravity effect resembles gamma function curves as it is distributed asymptotically with respect to the ordinates at finite ranges. The geometry of the structures can be deciphered from the Mellin transform curves as they vary from body to body.
