摘要
This article analyses the case of indigenous purhepechan children from Michoacan, Mexico, who temporarily attend schools in both Mexico and the United States. Vulnerable on three fronts (as children, as indigenous people, and as Mexicans), these children come of age in two distinct national contexts. At a young age, these children are forced to endure the adjustments that come with international migration. The article describes the various processes of negotiation endured by these children as they begin to form part of the growing flow of international migrants between Mexico and the United States.
