摘要
This paper is a review of the competitiveness rates of Mexico that was determined by the Word Economic Forum, during the President Vicente Fox Quezada's mandate. It is identified clearly the absence of connection between the established programs and plans, and the obtained results, propitiating the continuous reduction of the competitiveness rates with the consequent effects on the employment and production in this country. Then, by means of the analysis of a model it is observed that competitiveness of any country depends on several elements that if they are worked properly, could improve the national competitiveness and productivity. It is proposed to work in two key process, logistic, and science technology, elements that nowadays are very important for the competitiveness to the Mexican companies throughout the world. Also this paper contents a brief review over the actions of others similar countries to adapt its economies to the impact of the globalization and the international capital flows, in order to attract more foreign investment. Finally, it is presented some conclusions.
