The Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them. Its vision is of a radically improved world for people with dementia, in which their needs are fully met, their rights are recognised and they are free from discrimination. Here, Clive Evers, director of information, describes some of the work the society is currently doing towards achieving these aims.
