摘要
High-thermal-expansion ceramics consisting of nepheline (NaAlSiO4) and leucite (KAlSi2O6) were prepared by sintering mixture of their powders. The ceramics obtained had the relative density of 70 to 90%, bending strength of 60 to 100 MPa and linear thermal expansion coefficient of 15x10(-6)/degrees C to 28x10(-6)/degrees C from room temperature to 600 degrees C. The thermal expansion coefficient of the ceramics increased with increasing leucite content.
