摘要：
Condensation of anthraquinone-2-carboxaldehyde with several alpha-azido carbonyl compounds leads to alpha-azido-beta-antraquinonyl acrylates which under heating undergo ring-closure to give naphtho[2,3-g]indole-6,11-diones in a completely regioselective fashion.
