摘要
The aim is to examine the major contributions of queer theory to the discipline of International Relations. The central argument indicates that queer theory allows us to observe that 1) states and nations are historical constructions that regulate sexual activities in order to ensure their biological and social reproduction, 2) the (in) visibility of certain bodies on security strategies is a form of discursive violence that serves to strengthen the orthodoxies and hierarchies of gender, sex and sexuality, 3) globalization has allowed the emergence of apolitical "fluid sexualities" in the light of the commodification of the body and identity at the international level and the domestication of sexuality under the logic of consumption, 4) sexuality is at the intersection with ethnicity and other categories playing a constitutive role of hierarchies in the processes of militarization, nationalization and redefinition of state identities at the international level.
