摘要
The possibilities of use of a multilayer film holder in radiographic inspection of variable thickness objects are considered. The influence of the thickness of the lead intermediate screens on inspection sensitivity and the difference in thicknesses of the steel being x-rayed represented on the films of the multilayer film holder in a given range of optical density was investigated. The data of experimental evaluation of the thickness of the intermediate screen causing a given change in optical density of the film beyond the screen relative to the film above the screen is presented. Method recommendations on the composition of multilayer films holders are developed.
