摘要
The detection of some biomolecules has been investigated by an optical chemical sensor based on laser-excited surface plasmon resonance. For example, when the medium outside a silver film is changed from air to a glucose solution (0.1 M dm(-3)), the resonance angle changes from 23.39 degrees to 52.13 degrees. The shift of incident angle (Delta theta) increases linearly with the concentration of glucose or urea. The sensitivities obtained for glucose and urea solutions are about 2.34 x 10(-3) and 1.13 x 10(-3) mM(-1), respectively.
