摘要
Plasma desorption mass spectrometry (PDMS), developed for the mass analysis of biopolymers, has found application in the analysis of anthocyanidins, an important class of color-producing compounds in plants. Anthocyanidins, which have hitherto proven extremely difficult to analyze by any type of mass spectrometric technique, can be analyzed routinely to nanogram levels using PDMS. A simple extraction/hydrolysis scheme can be used to screen for these compounds.
