DIASTEREOSELECTIVE CLEAVAGE OF BETA-GLUCOSYLSULFOXIDES BY BETA-GLUCOSIDASE

摘要
Phenyl beta-D-glucopyranosyl sulfoxide and p-nitrophenyl beta-D-glucopyranosyl sulfoxide have been diastereoselectively cleaved by beta-glucosidases. Both distereomers can be selectively cleaved, depending on the origin of beta-glucosidase.
