摘要：
The apostolic creed adresses the church as apostolic, holy and catholic. These attributes convey the marian character of the church. Mary, the Daughter of Zion and Mother of Jesus, is the living archetype of the church. In many of his writings Hans Urs von Balthasar showed that the christian act of believing endorses the marian 'Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum'. This article focusses on Balthasars perspective on nine spiritual female figures of the history of the church.
