摘要
It is well known that back discharge on the surface of nonwoven fabrics is caused by corona charging. However it is not so well known that the back discharge exerts an influence upon the inside of the nonwoven fabric. Therefore, a laminated nonwoven fabric, as a model sample, was treated by corona charging. The properties of each layer were investigated by dust figure, surface charge density, thermally stimulated current, and filter performance. The properties of each layer brought about by the back discharge can be analyzed and the mechanism of charging on the nonwoven fabric can be estimated.
