Historical and Legal Analisys of the Fight against Cybercrime in the European Union

Cybercrime has become one of the most relevant issues in the 21st century, and it has not stopped concerning the European Union's (EU) institutions and its member States. In this work it will be analyzed the first steps taken by the EU to fight against Cybercrime, and it will follow up on the main actions and mechanisms that the EU has developed to combat it, and then try to protect its citizens, enterprises and entities of the Union creating a new frame based on Cybersecurity within a new digital Europe.
