摘要
The study demonstrates the Tunisian public's ignorance that ecological products exist on the local market as well as the public's willingness to consume them. This preference results from a growing awareness of ecological issues as well as a perceived need to get involved vis-a-vis the environment and the community. It is also depending on the individual's financial and cultural capitals. The question is whether ecological products remain a luxury and a privilege restricted to the affluent social class. Despite its noble cause, the environmentalist issue can escape neither from class categorization nor from the reproduction of social injustices. As a result, traditional conceptions and relations between the economic and social spaces and the environmental space need to be reconsidered.
