摘要
The West Knitting Mills of North Carolina knit yarn, dye the fabric and finish it. In 1981, the mill first began changing from a sparging steam system to a closed steam system in the dye becks. The following advantages became evident in the change: (1) the elimination of the possibility of any contamination during dyeing; (2) savings in energy and costs; (3) reduced burden on the boiler; (4) the elimination of 'rolling boil'; and (5) noise reduction.
