摘要
Coinfection with visceral leishmaniasis and HIV is an emergent problem in several countries around the world, particularly in Africa, the Indian subcontinent, and the Mediterranean basin. We describe a case of leishmaniasis in a US immigrant infected with HIV who presented with the classic picture of febrile visceral leishmaniasis.
