摘要：
Treatment of 1,4-di(2-ethoxycarbonylaminophenyl)-butadiyne, obtained from 2-iodoaniline in four steps, with sodium ethoxide in refluxing ethanol furnishes 2,2'-biindolyl in one step in an excellent yield.
