摘要
Spectroscopic methods have been employed to measure the electronic density and temperature of plasma produced by a CO2 laser at energy inputs which are close to those realized in experiments on plasma heating by heavy-ion beams in the Maxilac unit. The density amounted to approximately (1-2).10(17) cm-3, the temperature was about 20-30 eV in the vicinity of the heating radiation pulse maximum and approximately 3 eV after the pulse.
