The issue of intercultural recognition refers to a reflection on the culture, which includes a triple anthropological dimension (the relationship between culture and person), ethics dimension (personalization as a purpose of the good life individually and collectively) and socio-historical dimension (the relationship between culture and ideology). Affirming the need to distinguish the concepts of culture and ideology, the study addresses this reflection from the following scenario: contemporary nihilism, understood as a general collapse of meaning and value (the symbolic dimension), is not a state of culture among others, but rather a particular form of ideology which we call the anti-culture and designating the configuration of the capitalist world.
