摘要
Tensions in the initial teacher training in Colombia: between the Higher Normal Schools and the university. The article describes the scenarios where teachers are trained in Colombia and the recent reforms that seek to reorient their practices. It shows how a shift is taking place in the way these institutions are regulated, going from direct action by the State to self-regulation with conditions for accreditation. It also points out the tensions that occur between the Higher Normal Schools and the degree programs that are offered in the Universities, two modalities that represent different pedagogical traditions.
