THE EVALUATION OF PERCEPTUAL LEARNING FROM CINEMATOGRAPHY

This article, as an advance of a research, presents an approach to the alternative model in teaching and evaluation of criticism and the art of education proposed by Elliot Eisner, to the foundation of quality of evaluation processes in learning from the following questions: what is evaluation?, how to evaluate? and what to evaluate? In this perspective, the evaluation of learning relates to the formulation of value judgments from three contexts of evaluation (student, class and criterion), in coordination with the idea of dominance or skill developed by students at the critical, interpretive and cultural levels. These elements constitute the basis for determining evaluative strategies on perceptual learning from cinematography.
