摘要
The method of surface potentials is being applied to solve two-dimensional problem of monochromatic wave diffraction by penetrating body in plane-layered medium. A spacial Green's function is used to take into account spatial inhomogeneity of outer medium. Plane wave diffraction by cylinders with different cross-section embedded into homogeneous dielectric layer is considered numerically.
