摘要
A horizontal probe for blast furnaces, enabling gas to be sampled and its temperature to be measured and the stockline contour and speed of descent to be determined at various points on a throat radius, is described. The probe has passed industrial tests and provides much additional useful information on the course of furnace operation and any adjustments needed. The data processing program developed enables the actual distribution and utilisation of gas to be determined and compared with optimum parameters obtained most efficiently under similar raw materials and blast conditions.
