摘要
It is demonstrated that when the thicknesses of the insulation coating on a pipeline and on a disc electrode simulating a circular through defect in the insulation differ, the cathodic potentials of the electrode and defect with the same diameters are dissimilar in the general case. The possibility of modeling a through defect in the insulation on pipelines over the entire actual range of coating thicknesses by two-three electrodes with different coating thicknesses is noted.
