摘要：
A knowledge audit is a planning document which provides a structural overview of a designated section of an organization's knowledge as well as details of the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the individual chunks of knowledge within that designated section. The document also identifies the knowledge repositories in which those chunks reside. The concept, role and objectives of the knowledge audit are presented. The structure of the knowledge audit is detailed. The management of a knowledge audit is discussed. Finally, some examples of knowledge audits are provided.
