摘要：
This article describes Philips' response to rapid change in the volatile electronics industry. Closer co-operation between companies and countries in Europe is vital if they are not to be completely eclipsed by the United States and Japan in the market for electronics. Philips is a diversified company and in recent years has developed a strategy to maintain leadership against fierce competition in a rapidly, and often dramatically, changing industry.
