There is a common notion that natural food is healthy and that pesticides deteriorate its quality and poison the environment. Recent studies have revealed that plants produce - for defensive reasons - toxines, also called natural pesticides. These natural toxines are thousands times more toxic and concentrated in food products than pesticides produced by man. Modern synthetic pesticides, if are used according to the recommendation of science, are harmless, improve economics of plant production and enable cultivation of plant species with lower natural toxines content.
