INVESTIGATIONS OF THE RADIAL DISTRIBUTIONS OF GAS-FLOWS IN A HIGH-POWER MICROWAVE-DISCHARGE

摘要
The spatial structure of the gas flow and the distribution of products of plasmochemical processes in a high-power microwave discharge through a H2S-CO2 mixture have been investigated. The location of the nonequilibrium quenching region in the post-discharge zone was determined. The low energy loss realized in production of the synthesis gas (H-2 + CO) is explainable in terms of internal heat recapture in this quenching region.
