摘要：

Measurements are reported of the decay rates for the transitions 6p5d**1P//1-5d**2 **1D//2 and 6p5d**1P//1-6s**2 **1S//0. The result implies a large oscillator strength of about 0. 51. The experiment was accomplished with the use of a barium atomic beam and two dye lasers.
