ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION ADVERTISEMENTS: CRITICAL ANALYSIS

摘要
This paper intends to think about two advertisements that bring an Informal Environmental Education proposal, which can be introduced as a pedagogic tool in the scholar curriculum, the teaching and learning processes of schools and the teacher's education. The first one, which was launched on a national weekly magazine, is of a pencil company and the other, a picture published on an annual paper of 2003/2004 countable demonstration, of a thermoelectric company. I intend to explain how those images touched me, questioning aspects like the crisis of civilization: do these projects/proposals prioritize reality's transformation or adequacy? Having the idea that we are not external to the environment, the nature, but part of it, we have to be responsible for all matters that surround the Environmental Education. The main goal of this paper is to promote the debate and above all the reflection about these advertisements. I use a critical analysis over the images and texts as my methodology, because it allows me the construction and reconstruction of information and ideologies in it, having the conscience of the influences that they have above us.
